Questo lo si riscontra quotidianamente: la compagnia del libro e l’esercizio della lettura hanno lasciato spazio delle dita su smartphone, tablet e dispositivi elettronici vari. In the era of the CoronaVirus and the temporary “forced confinement” in our homes, the book can help us rediscover our interiority by stimulating the necessary conversation with ourselves. The book therefore opens windows to the world and to ourselves. Beyond any imaginary boundary, the book invites us to rise from the nefarious educational and cultural poverty into which we are sinking. Rediscovering reading means rediscovering the book as a symbol of the encounter with the different, with something else. Reading stimulates curiosity, the salt of happiness, suggesting access to other texts, therefore to new horizons, new perspectives, new reflections.
