Officina Vanvitelli, un progetto innovativo del Dipartimento di Architettura e Disegno Industriale dell’Università Vanvitelli.
Officina Vanvitelli, la neonata sede per la formazione post-laurea per il Design per la Moda del Dipartimento di Architettura e Disegno Industriale dell’Università Vanvitelli, è presentata lo scorso 3 giugno, presso il complesso monumentale del Belvedere di San Leucio. Durante il percorso di Officina Vanvitelli, i borsisti selezionati tra i talenti creativi dell’Ateneo, avranno l’opportunità̀ di confrontarsi con il mondo del lavoro sviluppando competenze, capacità organizzative e collaborative, partecipando a progetti in staff che prevedono il contatto diretto con imprese ed enti del settore moda. Da Giugno a Dicembre, saranno proposti incontri, mostre, seminari tematici, workshop, e sfilate. Nello specifico il programma di Officina sarà articolato sule lezioni magistrali aperte al pubblico sui temi dell’innovazione, oltre alla presentazione di laureati Unicampania d’eccellenza, e ad incontri con aziende, stilisti e designers affermati.
“Officina Vanvitelli – ha spiegato il Rettore Giuseppe Paolisso – fornirà alle imprese un laboratorio di idee ed un potenziale ‘attivatore di innovazione’ che al tempo stesso funzionerà da osservatorio per l’Università. Un osservatorio che consentirà un costante allineamento dei nostri obiettivi alle esigenze del mondo produttivo. Voglio ringraziare anche una volta il Sindaco di Caserta, che ha reso possibile la nascita di questa nuova sede, credendo nel nostro progetto che si propone di essere anche motore di sviluppo e valorizzazione di San Leucio”.
Risale, infatti, allo scorso dicembre l’intesa con il Comune di Caserta per la concessione e valorizzazione dello storico sito di San Leucio grazie alla quale la formazione post laurea del Dipartimento di Architettura e Design Industriale dell’Ateneo sarà ospitata nel meraviglioso Belvedere per almeno 10 anni.

Officina Vanvitelli, the newborn post-graduate training center for Fashion Design at the Vanvitelli University Department of Architecture and Industrial Design, is presented last June 3rd, at the Belvedere of San Leucio monumental complex. During the course of Officina Vanvitelli, the scholarship holders selected from the university’s creative talents will have the opportunity to confront themselves with the world of work by developing skills, organizational and collaborative skills, participating in projects in staff that provide direct contact with companies and fashion industry bodies. From June to December, meetings, exhibitions, thematic seminars, workshops and fashion shows will be offered. Specifically, the Workshop program will be structured around lectures open to the public on the themes of innovation, in addition to the presentation of Unicampania graduates of excellence, and meetings with established companies, stylists and designers.
“Officina Vanvitelli – Rector Giuseppe Paolisso explained – will provide companies with a laboratory of ideas and a potential” innovation activator “that at the same time will function as an observatory for the University. An observatory that will allow a constant alignment of our objectives to the needs of the productive world. I want to thank once again the Mayor of Caserta, who made possible the birth of this new headquarters, believing in our project that it also aims to be the engine of development and enhancement of San Leucio”.
In fact, last December the agreement with the Municipality of Caserta for the granting and enhancement of the historic site of San Leucio thanks to which the post-graduate training of the Department of Architecture and Industrial Design of the University will be hosted in the wonderful Belvedere for at least 10 years.
